We, The Hated

A documentary portrait of Just Stop Oil, told from the inside by a filmmaker whose girlfriend helped start the movement. The film follows four activists — Indigo, Mark, Phoebe, and Jane — as they navigate the personal toll of civil disobedience while the government moves to shut them down. It raises direct questions about the cost of dissent in a democratic society as climate tipping points and mounting legal repression close in around them.
