The Royal Opera: Götterdämmerung

The concluding chapter of Wagner's four-opera Ring cycle, *Götterdämmerung* follows Siegfried's betrayal of Brünnhilde, her devastating discovery of the truth, and the final destruction of Valhalla. Director Barrie Kosky sets the apocalyptic drama in a contemporary, dream-like world, with Antonio Pappano — Conductor Laureate of The Royal Opera — on the podium. The cast is led by Elisabet Strid, Andreas Schager and Mika Kares, supported by the full Orchestra of the Royal Opera House and the Royal Opera Chorus, in this live cinema screening at Eden Court.
