Mouse

Set in North Little Rock, Arkansas in 2002, *Mouse* follows Minnie, a teenager whose world is upturned when her lifelong friendship with the charismatic Callie fractures at the start of senior year. Adrift and searching for her own identity, Minnie gravitates towards Callie's polished, attentive mother — a relationship that pulls her further from her own working-class home. The latest from *Ghostlight* filmmakers Alex Thompson and Kelly O'Sullivan, the film is a subtly moving coming-of-age drama anchored by powerful performances. Presented as part of Inverness Film Festival, with thanks to Altitude Films. Rated 15+.
