Karawane Takeover - Festive House Party Session!

The OneTouch Theatre at Eden Court is transformed into an intimate club for this fast-becoming annual festive sell-out. Gnawa Trance Fusion — led by Moroccan-born musician Omar Afif — makes their north of Scotland debut, blending the spiritual, trance-inducing rhythms of traditional Gnawa music with Afro-funk, blues, jazz, electronic, psychedelic, and Scottish folk influences. The band's collective roots across Morocco, Uganda, and Scotland shape a live experience that draws on multiple musical worlds. Karawane DJs and percussionists fill the rest of the night with Brazilian samba, Nigerian afrobeat, Colombian salsa, and dancefloor sounds from South Africa to New York. Open to all aged 16 and over; strobing lights and haze are used throughout.
