Inverness Fringe Festival 2026

The inaugural Inverness Fringe Festival is a seven-day event spread across venues in Inverness City Centre, bringing together theatre, comedy, live music, dance, cabaret, spoken word, poetry, and visual arts. Over 25 ticketed shows from local performing artists are planned, alongside street performances, open-mic nights for under-18s, murder mystery tours, and workshops covering comedy, songwriting, Gaelic, and dance. Themed trails — including gallery, distillery, and experience trails — are designed to draw visitors into the city centre and support local businesses. Organised by Inverness Fringe Ltd, the festival focuses on emerging and established talent from the Highlands.
