Etape Loch Ness 2027 — Outdoors in Inverness

The UK's largest closed-road cycle sportive, Etape Loch Ness takes riders on a 66-mile (106 km) loop around Loch Ness on fully traffic-free roads, starting and finishing at Bught Park, Inverness. The route includes 900 metres of ascent, highlighted by the King and Queen of the Mountain climb — a 4.8-mile section rising 380 metres with gradients peaking at 12%. Now in its 13th edition, the event is open to riders of all abilities; participants can also ride in support of official charity partner Macmillan Cancer Support, with over £2.62 million raised since 2014. Pre-event registration runs Saturday 26 April 2027, 10:00–19:00 at Eden Court Theatre, with ride waves departing Bught Park on Sunday 27 April 2027 between 06:00 and 06:50.
