Elsinore

Elsinore tells the true story of Ian Charleson, a gifted actor dying of AIDS who steps into the role of Hamlet at London's National Theatre following Daniel Day-Lewis' departure. Written by Stephen Beresford (Pride), the film charts Charleson's final performance with unflinching honesty, wit, and grace. Andrew Scott (All of Us Strangers) leads the cast in what is being widely tipped as a career-best turn. Rated 15+, with content advisories for sexual content, coarse language, and mature themes.
